When I saw this recipe, I couldn’t get it out of my mind. I knew I had to make it and even though it was a few weeks between spotting it and trying it, it was worth the wait. These cupcakes are full of Terry’s Chocolate Orange chunks throughout and I added a little ingredient to bring out the full flavour of orange and chocolate – a match made in heaven! The buttercream is made with orange juice and zest and of course you have to top them with slices of Terry’s Chocolate Orange to complete their deliciousness!
I saw a video clip showing this delicious recipe for a dish similar to Lasagne but using no pasta. As I live in a house with both a coeliac and a gluten intolerant, this really caught my eye. It’s simple and quick to make and after working out measurements, temperatures and timings, it’s now become a firm favourite in our house. What I love about this dish is that I can make it a vegetarian option so easily!
I originally made this cheesecake with crème eggs as they were available in the shops at the time. I had found a mixed pack of mini eggs with different fillings such as the original Crème Egg, Oreo Eggs, Galaxy Eggs …. you get the idea. So if you want to make this and the magic eggs have disappeared, just replace them. You could buy a box of Heroes or Celebrations and use them instead so people get a different taste with each bite 🙂 It makes the cheesecake fun and interesting!
A really simple and fun cookie recipe which the kids will love helping you to make. You could also use M&M’s for a change and as they have different fillings, they would be great fun to eat too! Maybe each person could choose their favourite colour and use that colour only on their own personal cookies 🙂
This is a great recipe for those who want a wheat or gluten free dessert with maximum impact and not a huge amount of effort. You could replace the strawberries with raspberries or mixed berries too. You only need 3 main ingredients to make this really lovely cake so there’s nothing to you!
